College Gameday...

Since I am already the bitter old man, this morning.........

Anyone know if the College Gameday stage was actually in the stadium, for the Red River Shootout? If so, I'm pretty disappointed. Not sure if anyone else noticed, but during their pick 'em segment, the National Anthem was playing in the background. I find it hard to believe that they could not time the broadcast, so as to not be talking over the National Anthem. Some traditions, you just don't mess with.

The set was outside for most, if not all of the 2 hour ESPN segment (I did not watch it all but I know it was outside for atleast a good portion of it)

Then it moved inside at some point.

They talked over the National Anthem? Really? That almost makes me mad. Is it that hard to schedule around it? Is it that hard to shut up, turn around and stand up while it is playing? Last time I checked football analysis does not out rank America.

They were showing the band, behind the stage. But I don't know if they were actually inside the stadium, or using a blue screen. However, since they came back from commercial break, inside the stadium, I am going to assume that the pick 'em segment was inside, as well.

Yeah, they were inside the stadium because Herbstreit had to run up to the booth. I noticed they were making their picks during the National Anthem too. It looked like Corso noticed and waited until it was finished to put on his headgear. He was kind of stalling for a few seconds.

CGD f'ed up big time today. i think 70% of the show was bradford vs mccoy.

you would think there aren't any other games on today. then they bring in marc cuban for the last segement...leftist, obnoxious, 9/11 truther and america hater.

other than that stuff i think they did well
