You mean like the Oregon team who beat #6 Cal by 39 points? They have the same Nevada team and Hawaii team that is on NDs schedule. So I guess the same could be said of ND. Not to mention their prime time showdown with OU in a major bowl.
Playing a pac-10 team whose claim to fame is Nike, flashy uniforms, and being a middle-to-upper PAC 10 team does not impress me. Also, the fact that Oregon was the first ranked team ever to play at Boise is pretty embarassing. They didnt schedule Oklahoma, and Oklahoma offered them a home-and-home this past offseason and Boise declined. And ya Nevada is 0-3, and is no powerhouse. Scheduling games with Washington, Oregon State, and Oregon and going 4-2 against those middle-of-the-road Pac-10 teams the past 5 years really only proved that they would be just that, a middle-of-the-road team in the PAC-10. The only time they faced a ranked team out of conference on the road, they got destroyed by Georgia 48-13.
And you guess the same could be said of ND? Honestly, just stop writing stupid shit. You pointed out two teams who Notre Dame has played, one of which was scheduled due to moving the BYU game up in 2004, and the other was a bowl game. Half of ND's schedule is better than Fresno State (the 2nd best team on Boise's schedule) and that's not even including Purdue who nearly beat Oregon (the best team on Boise's schedule). Face it, Boise State has proved that they are content to roll through their weak conference, play one or two decent, not great BCS teams a year, and bitch at the end of the year when they aren't considered for the BCS National Championship. Every other premier non-BCS team schedules well. BYU scheduled Oklahoma State and FSU. TCU scheduled Clemson and Virginia. Tulsa scheduled Oklahoma. ECU scheduled WVU and Virginia Tech. Houston scheduled Okla State, Texas Tech, and Miss State. Fresno State scheduled Wisconsin, Cincy, and Illinois. Southern Miss scheduled Virginia, Louisville, and Kansas. Louisiana Tech scheduled Auburn and LSU. Even Navy has ND, Ohio State, Pitt, and Wake Forest scheduled. Central Michigan has Arizona, Mich State, and BC. Western Michigan has Michigan, Indiana, and Mich State. But youre right, Boise State deserves all our respect and admiration for playing Oregon, Nevada, and Hawaii. Good thing they scheduled UC Davis with their extra 13th game too.
