Another reason I love Michael Floyd

Guy is on the sideline after the MSU game in a sling, season over, celebrating a win with Jimmy and crew. Alma mater starts and he has the respect for his University to take his hat off and sings loud and proud.

May be a small thing, but it's the class that embodies Notre Dame. He just gets it. Kudos to mom for raising a great kid.

Michael Floyd's story is one of the best I've heard in football. A guy from the heartland that has to show up early every day to pay for the school he's attending, and being from a single-parent household. The guy will forever be one of my favorite players, even if he never plays another down. He's what being a student-athelete is all about, I'm proud to have him on our team. Here's to a speedy recovery, and many more memorable Saturday's! GO IRISH!

Apparently, Floyd is out each and every day on the practice field, arm in sling, coaching up the younger kids. This guy is special. Methinks we're gonna be able to watch him shine for the next two years.

You know how some kids just get it? Michael Floyd just gets it. If he keeps working hard there is absolutely no reason he shouldnt be the best wr in college football, outside of maybe Julio Jones. But who cares about Alabama....get healthy quick Michael and keep doing what you do.

ehh Julio only has 4 career td's and none in the last 11 games. i'll take floyd over jones any day. a.j. green is another story. a.j. green's high school highlights pretty much made me think he was the second coming of randy moss

thats an interesting point about Green and Jones....in terms of pure talent, I've always liked Julio more, but thats no slight towards A.J.....I would be stunned at this point if the 3 of them(Michael,Julio, A.J.) were not first round picks.

It just won't be the same watching my Irish out there tomorrow night without Michael Floyd...I was watching the MSU game on my DVR the other night for about the third time, and I just kept thinking to myself, damn, we're really gonna miss this kid the rest of the way.

In other news, Michael is now my favorite person ever. What an impressive young man. Basically worked as a janitor at Cretin-Derham Hall to afford his tuition. Just a great all-around person.

Only Jermaine Gresham is close to Rudolph. How many tight ends do you see getting screen passes in the open field? Not many.
