Did anyone notice, if you were watching, in the Boise State-Fresno State game there was a player who, after he scored a TD, silenced the crowd with a finger to his facemask? There was no call for unsportsmanlike conduct. Thought that was interesting.

Fresno State may say "anybody, anywhere, anytime" but I'm pretty sure Boise says "decent teams, usually at home, anytime."

They mentioned in the Oklahoma-BYU game that Oklahoma approached Boise about a home-and-home and got denied. Who has Boise played of note? Oregon? Oregon State? Washington? They played Georgia once 4 or 5 years ago and got smoked by 30+. Seems like this team is content to go through the regular season unbeaten and just hope for an at-large bid while still bitching about a playoff. Utah has scheduled Michigan, Fresno State has scheduled USC, TCU has played Oklahoma, BYU played Oklahoma and FSU just in this year.

Sorry I just don't like Boise State and their schedules every year.

Oh and when you're hosting your first ever ranked team, and that team happens to be Oregon and those rankings happen to be preseason ones, you know something is wrong.

Bama was the better team? Wow.. I could see that if they had lost by a field goal in the dying seconds... They got flat out trucked in that game.

they also didnt give a shit about the game

i respect the fact that utah came to play and played well, but we both know bama didnt care at all about that game. their bcs game was the sec championship. once they lost that game, it was over.

Sorry, dude, but I have to disagree with this logic. When you say "better team", in my mind, that includes a lot of intangibles, beyond just talent. If a team doesn't give a shit about the game that they are playing in, then their "better team" rating takes a HUGE hit. "Better teams" are better, in part, because they have a superior attitude. Teams with superior attitudes want to win EVERY game they play. They have a pride which drives them to play to win, regardless of the opponent or venue. Saying that a team "didn't care about the game", or "their hearts weren't really into it", is just an excuse for them getting beat by someone that no one expected them to lose to. It's not a reason, it's an excuse.

I agree with what you're saying, but if they played last year during the regular season, Bama would have won. I know, it's bad that they couldnt get themselves up for the game against utah.
