The topic was which coach needs the win on Saturday more, Weis or Rich rod. Tony says it's Charlie but Wilbon says Richrod because he shouldn't lose to an awful ND team.
Or.... "They still can't run the ball, nor can they stop the run."
Wilbon never got over Ty getting fired.
The media especially ESPN are going to consider us Sub-par until we beat the likes of a USC.
They will make excuses for a Michigan, BC, ect... They don't want us back on top period.
I can hear it now on Mondays PTI, Wilbon: Of course ND won, they should have. Richrod is in his second year with some players that still don't fit his system and Charlie is in his fifth year with veteran players blah blah blah.
I think Wilbon has been awful for quite a while now. I have a hard time watching that show anymore. Go Irish!
Kornhieser is awsome on PTI though. I'm ding the penguin dance right now
-and it would be a very good true point. ND should win and I expect a butt-whippin.

Wibon appears smarter than you both thought.

Not sure why you would say that, the topic of this thread was that Wilbon said ND was awful. In case you missed the game on Saturday then you know that ND is by no means AWFUL.
He was however right about Michigan winning. The point I was trying to make in my previous post was that if ND did win,he(like many other ESPN commentators) would quickly justify their wrong predictions with more BS about how ND "SHOULD HAVE WON".
