"You Think You're Funny, But You're Not!"

That's what my wife is constantly telling me, particularly when I've made a witty(?) observation about one of her family members... It's become like my own personal tagline; I think I'll have it put on my tombstone.

Anyway, I bring up potential funny because, a few months ago, you guys helped me out a lot in selecting some material to perform. Unfortunately, scheduling has kept me off-stage for awhile, but I'm getting back going again now.

I have some new material posted for a contest sponsored by the movie, "Funny People". I found out about the contest a day before entry deadlines, so I couldn't get the new stuff taped in front of an audience, but I went with the dry run anyway.

I just thought I'd post it here and let anyone comment who would like to do so. I really appreciate the feedback I've gotten from you guys in the past, and I respect your opinions (of course, you're Irish fans!) so I enjoy finding out what you think.

I think its terrible that your wife is being negative toward what you like to do. She should be being supportive EVEN if she HATES what you do. Not saying that you guys are bad for each other or that shes not the one for you, but she shouldnt be saying things like that to you in my opinion. Otherwise I'm sure she's a lovely gal. Tell her she needs to smoke some weed and chill the fuck out. if she needs some I'm sure I can work something out to send ya. lol lol lol

Nah, actually, she's usually just reacting to nasty little things I say that I find funny... Such as, she's going on a 4 hour ride to Buffalo this weekend to see some priest speak. This Father Corrapi is some big deal I guess, but I don't get how a priest sells tickets at a major arena.

So I asked her what a man in his position would do to entertain a crowd; Nun-Juggling? Little Boy Rodeo?

That's when I get the (deserved) snide comments.
