ND vs Kent...Anybody goin?

I just got bleacher tix in sec 110 with anticipation of moving down a level when the game starts. My buddies and I are going. 13 bux each...not bad. Plus it'd be fun 2 see Kent play...That Meeks kid is crazy. Gonna go to the Between the Buns of course first and have a Papa Smurf or 3. Just another excuse to get drunk...lol.

From the looks of the last 2 games, You should have no problem moving down or finding a closer seat. I'll be going tomorrow sec 2. row 13.....I normally do my pregame at Main St. but it could change due to a job interview in Goshen for 2pm.

What a great game that was yesterday. Kentucky held close behind in a hostile environment then came through in the clutch. Wish I could be there tomorrow. To see Kentucky lose to my ND.

It boggles my lil noggin to hear that the place won't sell out, but I guess ND is all or nothing.

I'll def be there cheering! Main St. is chill...but the papa smurfs just get the job done. For those who aren't local...This 5 dollar drink consists of like 6 or 7 diff liquors and is mixed with some really good stuff...I have no idea what it is but its basically a 7 shot tasty drink. Gets the job done....quick esp. if you have more than one!

This is not the tournament any of us wanted. But hats off to these guys for not mailing it in. Kentucky is a pretty decent team, this was a good win. There are alot of teams who arent playing anymore, and we'll still be playing next week. Good for them

This was by far the best game I've been to this year. It was close to a sell out, partly because of the excessive amount of Kentucky fans, the crowd was loud and into the game and the team knew they wanted to win and keep on winning. Can't wait to see them play Penn St on Monday.

Just thought I'd let you know it is Tuesday at 9 PM/ET, not Monday. The Garden should be rockin' with two of the biggest fan bases in the country. Baylor v. San Diego State will be a nice warmup game before the real show. My prediction is Irish v. Baylor in the championship game with the Irish bringing home the crown.

1..it was hard to believe what campus I was on..."hats off to KU for traveling 4 hours"

2..as far as sitting next to a "visitor"...KU fans are better than PSU fans...

3..It was hot and loud..great turn out..

4..after the game...called the wife and was like, "We're going to Between The Buns. ND WON!!!" She was like, "WTF for?" Then I said, "I need to try this Smurf drink!" She said, "A Smurf Drink?" Short pause....."Honey, you have a drinking problem."

5..it's always great to see the Irish beat anyone from the SEC...

Haha nice. I agree most KU fans were chill...There were a few annoying ones but that goes for just about every fan base. I was way off that the Papa Smurf was only 5 bux...I got one for 12 last night! I must have went when it was on special or something when it was only 5! It was well worth it as it got the job done! How'd u like it? ND was impressive and their D on Meeks was amazing esp in the first half. The 3's were falling and when we shoot like that and establish Gody than we can beat anyone in the country.

The lady at the bar was like, "The drinks aren't on special, they cost $12." I thought $12!!!! fuck it..... Then the drink came out..." 32ozs of pure enjoy enjoyment"..... If I didn't have to drive home, I would of had 3 more....
