Keep in mind that this would NEVER happen, but it would be interesting if Gruden was hired as the head coach. And, Charlie would stay on as OC.

You guys are crackheads. Gruden will NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER leave the pros. This article is proble from the bleacher report. Not gonna happen. I didnt even waste my time reading this article because I'm sure its probly from a reporter from New York or some shit.

What kind of credibility would we have with future recruits if they knew that this administration waited until Weis signed this class and then we fired him, like this article suggests?

The answer is none, this will not happen!! I cant believe time is even being wasted on this topic.

Thats exactly how I feel. This is kinda like the artical that said "ND to drop NBC contract and sign with CBS and play all their games in prime time" Plus the guy that posted this is a newbie.

Also consider this scenario....

ND fires Weis and hires Gruden. Gruden starts out his first year 5-0 and rumors start to emerge about him going back to the NFL. We sign him to a 10 yr contract with a huge buyout.....

Hmmm....No thank you

I hope not. He was fired for lack of success. He is a jerk. He seems to have little guy complex. (relatively speaking)

Gruden would never work in the college game. Can you imagine him going to a recruits house trying to seal the deal? He would be an awful hire.

With all of that being said, he does not have the ability to develop talent. That happens to be one of the big keys to the college game. On top of that, he is a unadulterated ass.

Yep, that is right. I think CW is the lesser of two evils in that area. CW did get credit for developing Brady. I can't think of anyone JG devleoped??
