Great idea...we should definitely offer Jeff the OC/OL coaching position. He also provides an in house backup to Charlie should misfortune affect Charlie's future at ND. Lets hope the Admin. sees it that way.

Never will happen. Read the links, and you'll see that Jags is a pro guy all the way. Came from the pros, and is ITCHING to get back there. He's just not a college guy, and there's nothing admin can do about it.

He's also reportedly up for the Seasawks off coordinator job...

Wow, a bit of a crazy move.


I don't really feel bad for Jags though. He'll land some job in the NFL, probably as a coordinator, maybe eventually head coach and I believe BC still has to pay out his contract because he was not fired for criminal activity. I think he was itching to get back to the NFL anyway.

The BC AD has the notion that a coach actually serve out a contract. What a novel idea!

He didn't want to be there. F*** him. If you don't want to be somewhere, be gone then. It was chicken shit for him not to tell the AD about the interview in the first place. Be honest if you're interested in moving up.

And if he really wanted to be there, you think he would have taken the interview KNOWING he'd get fired? He's probably glad he got fired. He didn't have the zeal for recruiting. He was a bad recruiter, but a good coach. He had a bad recruiting class coming in, and a slew of seniors leaving. Now he doesn't have to coach those underclassmen and have an ND like year.

If I'm a BC fan, I'm pissed at first, but then looking at the whole situation, I say f*** him if he didn't want to be there in the first place...

Speaking of Fredo. Congradulations Browns fans and our undying gratitude to Mr. Lerner. You ALWAYS hire a GM and allow him to bring in his own staff, including the coach. Now, there is no way that Scott Pioli comes to Cleveland, particularly after this hiring! Patriots fans thank you.
