The link didn't work (sorry), but this is a summary of his comments.
Michael Floyd, the recordsetting Notre Dame freshman from Cretin-Derham Hall and a future NFL wide receiver, is home in St. Paul after the Irish's 49-21 victory over Hawaii in the Hawaii Bowl. Floyd said he was pleased with his rookie season, in which he had 48 receptions for 719 yards and seven touchdowns in 10 games. "I knew it would be tough at the beginning trying to fit in with everything; it was kind of mind-boggling, the speed of the game," Floyd said. "But you have no choice but to go on with the pace, and eventually you catch up." Notre Dame finished 7-6. Next season? "We'll be pretty good; we have most everybody coming back," said Floyd, who played at 6 feet 4, 215 pounds compared with 6-4, 205 in high school. -- Pioneer Press
