Best things about the game. Clausen, of course. Allen's KR TD (about time for ND!!!), 8 ffreakin' sacks!, Tate. It was nice to see some emotion, almost swagger, like we expected to win. I still think something has to be done about the lack of a run game though, and I hope the win doesn't pacify that thought in the university.

Happy 7th birthday to my daughter today. She took a moment out of her busy day to tell me she was happy for me that Notre Dame was winning before she went to bed. No negativity (Hawaii sucks). Great performance Irish. In the immortal words of Han Solo, "Don't get cocky, kid."

im not gonna lie. we looked like the 10-3 team we should be today. we shouldnt have lost the 3 games we had the double digit leads in. but i think if we were to win them we would have been put in a much tougher bowl game against oregon or someone close to their stature. but im glad things happened the way they did. this was a great win for us today because we are on a high note. and how stacked are we at RB...i thought hughes did a hellatious job. armando sparked big plays like we have been expecting him too. james aldridge..is james aldridge. and even jonas showed a little somethin somethin at the end, even though they ran the same 2 plays twice in a row with him and he lost yardage on the 2nd time both times haha.

Great win, now lets build off that and become a better team in 09. Maybe I'm just over excited that we finally won a bowl game, but I think this win is huge win for the team. IMO it should spring board them into greater things next season.

Yes, my father asked what the hell that meant. My oldest son is twenty he did not know. The 15 year old said it meant you cant see me. I think it does not make a whole lot of sense. But, the gimme five thing (some may even remember the high ten) we started way back when likely looked ridiculous to old assholes like I am now. Anybody recall the Billy Whiteshoes high step? Can't friggen believe it, but I spent 4 hours sleeping this week, and 4 of those hours were exactly during the game. Me and God threw some blows when I woke up. Well, I threw blows at the air, but...
