Hahahahahaha
Hahahahahaha
OK, how do I even address this chain of Irish stupidity?
1. "Smith played for 2 years as a defensive lineman for Butler Community College in El Dorado, Kansas. He then transferred to
University of South Carolina where he played as a reserve defensive end his junior and senior years. He recorded 11 tackles in 12 game appearances his senior year." Before you start posting your un-original, worn out slams about the USC Trojans,
MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.
2. "Quinn is an idiot to try and fight with a lineman" Quinn is an idiot, you are right about that. And a steroid monster. ND must get some good bulk deals on Steroids:

3. "and USC still sucks it hard." Well, ND fans should be experts on things that suck right now. Pretty tough talk about a team that has beaten your sorry behinds 2 years in a row 38-0 and 38-3. But ND fans are never short on pig headed arrogance. Since we are on the subject of "Football teams that suck" here is some interesting information:
"The controversy over the tie with Iowa stemmed from the fact that both of Notre Dame's touchdowns (one late in the first half and the other late in the game) came after a player had faked an injury. In both instances, Notre Dame had used up their allottment of time outs, and under normal circumstances, time would have expired in each half before they could run another play. Faking an injury was a widely-used ploy in football as a means of buying time, but in most cases there was no impact on the outcome of a game. In Notre Dame's case, they used this ruse not once but twice in the same game, and both times they managed to score touchdowns. A new rule was implemented the following year forbidding players from faking injuries, and many saw this as punishment directed at Notre Dame, who were branded as the "Fainting Irish."

4. "This could've of been an assault by the USC thug. " USC "thug"? What proof do you have that USC is a bunch of thugs? Oh, and since we are on this subject, below is a video of ND "thugs" :
YouTube - Notre Dame thugs!
Oh, and BTW,
I am referring to the USC TROJANS, since the posters on this board cannot seem to differentiate between Southern California and South Carolina.
5. "he should have called ZIBBY he would have knocked his arse (sic) out !" Well, your probably right about that, since "Zibby" is probably the most out of control violent steroid monster to ever come out of ND. See below video of "zibby":

There is some real sportsmanship, huh? From your fine "Catholic institution" which "holds itself to higher standards" and all the other drivel you ND fans give to us.
6. "No suprise a USC *sshole taking a cheap shot at a ex ND player" Wow, "asshole" that's a fine Catholic word coming from a supporter of "Our lady's university", huh? Since we are discussing cheap shot, poor quality football players, here is another one, Allen Rossum: Any of you ND fans remember him? And a scandal involving a female ND booster and a child? I doubt it, as you ND fans would have us all believe that ND football players are a pack of choirboys who go to confession every Sunday and walk little old ladies across the street on their way to the library to study.
This whole thread is SO TYPICAL of all Notre dame subway fans. You have no idea what you are talking about, just spewing blind hatred at anyone/any team that doesn't like ND. From your chair on high, sitting on your pompous, arrogant butts, you pass your dumb judgements on the rest of us as "jealous ND haters" "thugs" "envious of our 11 National championships" or how many titles your claim to have in your delusional brains and watch your team celebrate in the end zone after beating Army or Syracuse (oops...24-23 L) or Robert Morris or whatever cupcake you are playing instead of joining a conference. Just to make it clear, I am referring to the ARMY football team, I know the posters on here confuse football teams real easily, like USC (Trojans) and USC (Gamecocks). Heck, the TITLE OF YOUR WHOLE WEBSITE is "ND Envy" hahaha..like we envy your 6-7 football team that lost to Syracuse, hasn't won a bowl game since the early 1990's, gets waxed every time they play a good team, and has gotten a whole bunch of Heisman trophies and has been put in Bowl games that they don't deserve:
"The 1964 award, which went to Notre Dame's John Huarte, is now the stuff of legend, with football historians quick to point out that nearly everyone was in agreement that year that the outstanding football player in the country was Alabama's Joe Namath. That's easy to say now, but in fact, back in 1964, Heisman voters not only didn't vote Namath No. 1 or No. 2, they didn't even see fit to place him in the top 10."
The lunacy of the Heisman Trophy. - By Allen Barra - Slate Magazine
What do you ND fans always say? "Notre Dame IS football" hahaha..wow..what kind of an inflated ego does it take to make that sentence? "We deserve our own TV contract"
Your QB, Jimmy Clausen, was quoted as saying this year, "USC doesn't respect ND" to which Pete Carroll replied, "How would he know that?" USC respects ND, they just don't bow down and worship ND and throw the game to (supposedly) almighty ND, which is what Irish fans want. Maybe it's that fine ND education you all talk about so much that has clouded Jimmy's ideas, how ND is "an academic school" "Like Yale or Harvard" haha...see below:
Scout.com: Robert Hughes Profile
That is Robert Hughes' scout.com profile. In high school, he had a 2.5 GPA and got a 17 on the ACT. So your telling me that ND is an "Academic school like Harvard, so it can't get recruits like other schools such as USC who lets anyone in!" (Again, that is USC in Los Angeles, not in South Carolina) but you can gain entrance with a 2.5 GPA? Harvard lets students in with a 2.5 GPA? I wasn't aware of that, I am going to apply to Harvard right now! That ranks right up there with the Weis apologists who claim he is a good coach.
He "has a young team"--OK this is the third year in a row ND has been "a young team", He "needs to build depth through recruiting" He has had consecutive top ten classes, and what, he can't produce a winning record unless he has a team loaded with 5 star, experienced, senior recruits? wow...what kind of coach is he then?
Not much point continuing that, as the weis defenders are the most delusional of the bunch.
So, before you reply to this with your tired and worn out posts of "he is just a jealous ND hater" "wow...ND always draw attention!" , remember that
YOU STARTED THIS BY INSULTING MY TEAM AND CONFUSING THEM WITH SOUTH CAROLINA. I am not here because I am "jealous" of ND, I am not here because I am a "stupid ND hater" I am here to write a rebuttal and defend my team from another dumb ND football fan. Oh, and here's a tip; If everyone hates you, as you claim, isn't that something you should be thinking about? WHY does everyone hate you? Could it be because your rude, arrogant, immature, disrespect other people's teams and general act like morons? Stop the "everyone is picking on me" routine, get rid of those puke green uniforms, and act like good college football fans instead of spoiled children. Yes yes, we know you have Heisman trophies and NC's. Here is a newsflash: SO DO ALOT OF OTHER TEAMS. Like USC, (The one in Los Angeles, not South Carolina, everyone with me?) And we are tired of hearing you talk about it.
Well, I will end this as I know, per ND fans, that all the top recruits like Manti Te'o are coming to ND, Urban Meyer or Lisping Lou Holtz (get your sneeze guards ready if that happens) is going to be your coach in 2010, and you are going to win like what, 12 NC's in a row after that? So I better go prepare.
HAHAHAHAHA
