I'm sure CW has tons of possibilities licking their chops. Probably has his choice already. Maybe Powlus? Someone posted several possibilities already in the last week or two. Can't remember the post, but top of short list was a former ND lineman.

I would love to see Tom Clements as the OC but can he coach RB's? Unless he undrstandes the RB position I say we hire a RB coach.

I kinda think many coaches can coach many positions well. Former linemen have done well as head coaches too. At all levels. So many possibilities.

Doubt Clements would take it, I think there was some bad feelings when he was passed over for CW. Also, how much say would he have with CW as Head Coach. I think CW should stick to calling the plays and therefore be the OC and hire a running backs coach. Plus as some others have mentioned, the line problems need addressed first. Maybe Haywood does us all a favor and takes Latina with him.

Well guys, I have already been contacted by Charlie and accepted the OC role. I only accepted after he agreed to promote Latina.
My offensive philosophy has the following diverse capabilities.
First, I have 14 different screen passes. The will be utilized on every down exept 4th.
Second, on short yardage 3rd and 4th down, I like to suprise the D by lining up I-formation and running the TB up the gut. Never works, but it looks good.
Third, when within striking distance of the endzone I will totally blindside the D with a chuck it up fade to the corner of the endzone.
Finally, when or if we get a couple score lead, I will like to make my playcalling extra concervative so I do not embarrass the other team and sometiimes can let them back in the game. This makes it really exciting for the fans.

IMHO I think C.W. will continue play calling duties, because that's what he knows. However, I would be curious how the players react to this. I think JC and others react and played better when Heywood was coordinator, as opposed to Weis.

My Christmas wishlist is to have C.W. take a demotion to simply OC, and have someone else run the entire team. I would have loved to have Kiffen, or even Norm Chow, it's just not going to happen. Let's at least get someone who knows how to spread the field and run a college offense

I heard that Meyer was quitting UF after the NC Game to come be OC, I hear from a well placed source that Omar will be coming as well.
