Hawaii Warriors vs Notre Dame Fighting Irish December 24th Hawaii Bowl... For that to happen Arizona must beat Arizona State and the Irish must accept.

Holly smokers Notre Dame coming to Hawaii would be like a well Christmas present.

There are so many Irish fans in Hawaii that it would be a split crowd.

THink about it Irish faithful cold winter bowl game or Hawaii Bowl. Sun, beach, bikini babes, and most important a good team in Hawaii to play against.

Yea that is the one I am pulling for. I wish I could make it to that game but coming from Pittsburgh it is a little out of my price range. But I am thinking this game use to be the Aloha Bowl, correct me if I am wrong, and that game does have a long tradition of producing some good matchups. Plus watching the Irish on Christmas Eve would be awesome!!

And good for the players, if they get to go to Hawaii good for them, as opposed to going to Shreveport or something like that.

No offense to anyone who is from Shreveport, I am sure it is a lovely place.

You are right it used to be called the Aloha Bowl. Hawaii is really excited about the possibility to play the Irish. You are very right it would be a good reward for the Irish players to come to Hawaii(check out SportsHawaii.com - Hawaii's Fan Based Sports Page). Maybe even a few will come back to the islands as NFL Pro Bowlers in the future. :)

It also would work out well with the recruiting of manti teo. I'm not saying by any means we would get him but it would be an opportunity for the coaches to talk to him and for him to see the Irish play.

Very true. Manti TEO. From what i was told by Puanhou football staff is that Manit had a great time in South Bend. A comment was made that if the University and Student body are this pumped up when it is a down year can you imagine when the Irish are contenders for the crown.

I think Manti is going to UCLA because 2 of his teammates (Dalton Hilliard a ND prospect at one point and Robby Toma) accepted scholarship offers.

You never though. Manti loved Touchdown Jesus and what better way for a good ol Mormon boy from Laie to play football with Touchdown Jesus right there watching.....


Mr. TEO and his Punahou football team will be playin in the Hawaii football state championship game this coming Friday. Should be good i shall let you all know how he did ..

ok, weis is coming back now let's see if he can get this team ready to play a bowl game. i pray to God the players take it upon themselves to be ready to compete and win. i don't like the Oregon St. matchup one bit but a win against the beavers would be a nice one. i can't wait to get clarity on which game we're going to be playing in.

That would depend on how Notre Dame plays. It could, conceivably, ruin Christmas. We lost to a 2-8 team....I'm not so sure that we would beat Hawaii.

talk of us playing rice in the texas bowl? i'm worried about them too. to be fearful of a conference usa team is truly sad. it's my understanding that they have a solid offense but suspect defense, although syracuse was ranked 108th or something like that so we can't really bank on putting up big numbers against a weak defense. maybe charlie will try to "estabilsh the run" and control the clock with screens and draws. how about some fun in a bowl game for once with some misdirection, tate to floyd type shit.

Floyd and B. Smith should be back for a bowl game. What about Anello and Allen? Any word on them since leaving the USC game w/ injuries?

Anello's leg is broken so he's done but i haven't heard a peep about Allen. the way he came off the field cried ACL and gone til next fall but that's simply speculation on my part.

Im gonna give it to you straight,the administration doesnt have any balls thats why weis is still coach Im not condemming him just one sorry ass season Im going back to his glory days with quinn&co. we got blown out of every meaningful game against top ranked competition it was sickening we lack discipline,focus,and toughness and its because weis is a failure

Yeah, USC really kicked the shit out of us in the Bush-push game. Got our asses blown out.

And I guess we lost to Michigan when they were ranked 3rd (or 5th?). I thought we won, but if you say we lost, then I'll go with that. (I know Mich finished unranked, but he prepared us for a top-ranked team and we beat them.)

I'm not saying CW hasn't done a putrid job the last 2 years, and this is ND so we should expect much more. But let's not have revisionist history here. We've gotten blown out, sure, but there were competitive games in there as well. Nobody was bitching when we beat Mich, and nobody was bitching when we took the top-ranked team in the nation to the final (illegal) play. Fire him all you want, but if you're gonna 'give it to us straight', then give it to us straight...

Hawaii is a 2 pt favorite, LOLOLOL. i pray to God we come out swinging. sad times being constant underdog. hopefully charlie doesn't have that deer in headlights look about him on the sidelines. get michael floyd the rock and all will be good.

not to rehash the memory, but what the referees did before that illegal play is what cost us the game. the clock actually ran out like it was suppose to and the game was over until the referees remembered the check that pete carroll sent them in the mail earlier that week.

And you cite a close loss at home like it means something?
