There has been a lot of negativity lately on the forum. Perhaps most of it has to do with the performance of the team so far. This thread is why I will forever be true to the BLue & Gold!

1. Making the five hour journey to South Bend, walking into the stadium and seeing "one of the most beautiful sights in world".
2. Visiting the Grotto & Basilica on gameday. Attending Mass in the Basilica Sunday morning.
3. Seeing those golden helmets come on the field of battle on a Saturday afternoon.
4. Seeing the Irish beat a rival like the Skunkbears,U$C or BC.
5. Going to the bookstore and stocking up on Irish gear...always remembering to get "The Shirt".
6. Getting to campus early on gameday and having breakfast at the Legend or a burger or dog from one of the student groups.
7. Watching the Irish Guard lead the band unto the field just before kickoff.
8. Looking at the various statues around the Stadium....Rock,Leahy,Ara and Lou. Hopefully Charlie will have one someday.
9. Listening to the band play the most famous college song...The ND Victory March.
10. Watching the players gather at the student end after every game to sing the Alma Mater.

Feel free to add to the list and..................GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO IRISH!!!!!!!

11. Slamming my alarm for not waking me in time to watch an ND game after a brief half hour nap after a 34 hour work sequence. Fuckin worthless alarm.

Bought a better one at the 99 cent store. Watched the entire ND/Navy game.
