Any long term update would be good on Michael Floyd and Brian Smith. It is very frustrating when you lose your best player on O and one of the best on D in a single game. After seeing Floyd in a full leg brace and then Smith in street clothes, this does not bode well.

I do not have any info, but I have the ugly feeling that Floyd is lost for the season, maybe longer. This is a giagantic loss for our offense. He is the one player who demand extra attention by an opposing D. Get well Michael!!!

Losing Brian Smith will also hurt our D. He is an emotional leader and plays with passion. I will say that Toryan filled in very well today, but he does not possess the speed of Brian. With him in street clothes after half time, I am hoping he will be OK long term

PA,
It may be speculation, but a full leg support does not look good. I am hoping, but not hopeful that he will be back.

I think that something would have been said if someone was out for the season, especially someone like Floyd.

I respect the Navy football team but I can't believe how many chop blocks were not called. That's cheap and that's how our guys got injured. Navy knows they are smaller so they resort to knee breaking tactics....

Service academy teams are every bit as dirty as the rest. Late hits and chop blocks are BS, the refs give them slack, also the officials were giving the game to them in the end, extra time outs? Those officials(Big East) are a bunch of clowns.

How did they get the xtra time-out?

The other thing that pissed me off is when they gave them the ball on the 1 yard line after the big pass. Um I believe his foot was on the line therefore that's out of bounds..

AZ, yes his foot was on the line but his toes came down first, that's were they called the catch. And I thought Charlie was gunu go crazy with that extra time out call.

What about JC? Although he was out for a play he certainly got a heads up that going feet first is pry safer. He will defiently be feeling that one tommarrow.

JC hasn't played well the last couple games but I will tell you that the run he got hit were he dived head first will score points in the locker room.

Happened right in front of me. He was out of bounds. Love the way Navy plays to the last, but that was not a catch.

I thought you werent allowed to get back to back time outs, or is that just in the NFL?

Exactly what I was thinking. He really showed some guts out there. He'd be the first one to tell you he's struggling, but you gotta love this kid's competitive spirit. By the way if we lose Floyd, there is NO way we beat SC unless we get 10 turnovers. His lost was definetely felt during the game. Its easy to tell the he is JC #1 target.
