Beurlein was way on top of that issue. This is the first time I liked the guy.
Liked him the entire game. NBC should give him millions.

I was at the game and I wish I was a lil closer but its better than being row 35 hahahahaha. Anyway, it was a great game. Seems like Clausen was a lil anxious, imo. It also seemed like they used the same play over and over and over and over again, which is very annoying. Im sassified though.

Ok, I was at work and missed the original broadcast of this game, so I have just finished watching the recording. All I can do is laugh. I have read all these comments that CW needs to be fired and I really thought that he screwed this one up. What I saw was a ND offense that ran the ball up and down the field and would have probably scored 2 or 3 more touchdowns if it were not for JC's turnovers. I saw a defense, time after time, shut down the 2nd best rushing in attack in the country.
I then thought CW was stupid for putting the 2nd team offense, but those guys drove it all the way down inside the 5 yard line. Then all of the sudden things got strange. Here comes a monsoon out of nowhere and thus a slippery football and Gray fumbles. Fast forward to the the 1st onside kick. A 15 yarder for batting the ball out of bounds? I never heard of that rule. Navy tries it again and actually comes up with the ball? That is some lucky shit........McNeil gets beat deep on a catch that was not a catch.........More lucky shit.......Half of his foot is inbounds, half is out?????? Another onside kick that takes a crazy bounce right into the hands of a Navy player...........More lucky shit........All while this is going on, the monsoon has magically evaporated........the refs give Navy a 4th timeout???????? These events were straight out of made for tv movie. All I could do is laugh, not mad, just laugh.

you know what matters is that we are in a bowl this year and we have doubled our total wins from last year. a good step in the right direction i think.

that's great and all and i hope the team gets a win in a bowl this year but charlie continues to get outclassed and outcoached. his team is constantly unprepared and unmotivated at the start of the game. i don't know what it is with him but something isn't right week in and week out. it takes the team way too long to get hyped up and if there's a play that hypes them up he squashes the player for getting excited. i am nervous about syracuse and that is sad. we used to go into the syracuse game thinking we'd win by 30+ and now we'll probably only be favored by 6. what a joke.

yeah, 50 pts should give a good cushion for coasting in the 2nd half. it'll be interesting to see who steps up at WR. can duval play up to his ability? i sure hope he can get in the flow early in this game. i expect 55 screens plays from weis so who the heck knows.
I am betting CW learned a little lesson this Saturday whether he admits it or not. What should have been a solid victory with the public, fans and media saying how well ND responded. Instead he keeps hearing how ND SURVIVED. The players, program and CW most importantly needed a boost and instead they got another knock.

ND easily could've lost this game. 2 poor plays on special teams with the onside kicks, especially with the second one where Hughes, Brown, and Tate all looked up at the ball. ND cannot finish a team off this year. We will be beating Syracuse 35-3 and end up winning 35-31. We established the run, but come on this was against Navy where our o-line out weighed their d-line by 25 pounds plus. A win is a win.

I was big on Kamara coming into this season. He looked like the only decent reciever we had at the end of last season. He had good size, speed and great hands. I'm not sure what happened in the off season but he has been a different guy this year. The last couple of games hes been getting a few more touches so it will be interesting to see if he can develop into what i thought we had which is a good solid reciever.
Floyd was just a blessing, i dont even know where he came from, but it was nice cuz i was able to dust off the darius walker #3 jersey that hung lonesomely in the closet all last season.. sucks hes down now but everyone is going to have to take there recieving to the next level to make up for it.

Have to start somewhere. Hopefully this gave a lot of our guys some confidence to come out this sat. and beat down the SU O-line the same way. I would like to see JC get some confidence back too before going out west for the big one...
