Just got back from a sports bar after 3 quarters.
Not fantastic. But really good. What the heck? It's his first start.
BQ is for real and I can't wait for him to mature.

God I hate that guy. What a complete contrast from his pops. Great game, except for those 2 plays that could be said cost them the game. Lack of discipline in life, shows up on the football field...

Oops, forgot about the offensive holding penalty on the 3rd and 16 completion to Braylon Edwards. Gotta use his brain.
It's too bad Brady has to play with a bunch of Clowns. Maybe Winslow was miffed cuz Savage wouldn't redo his contract at halftime.

You are right. I could forgive him for the last play drop...that ball had some heat on it...but the offensive pass interference play and the fumble cost the Browns the game. Brady played excellent and deserved to win!!! Winslow may have had 2 TD's, but his bonehead plays cost them the game.

OK attack me all you want but Brady played OK....however, he had a chance to win and did not come through. All is passes were short dumps...he never tried to throw the ball down field. He was too safe!!! Brady will be a GREAT NFL QB but not until he finds a long ball!!!!!!!

How do you throw the ball on on 2and1, 3and1 and 4and1 when your running game has been chewing them up all night? I blame the defense for letting the Broncos back in the game and I blame the play calling at the end of the game.

I had no problem with all the short passes. Let Brady get comfortable in the offence first before we start airing it out.
I agree phork there was no need to throw the ball deep when the offence was in short yard situations. I could see maybe a few when its 2nd and short but just let Quinn get comfortable, and get the timming down this the revievers.
Over all I think Brady played great. This loss is on the Defence.

What was important for me was BQ's FBI and his physicality. He felt the rush, had great receiver awareness and got off a couple of good balls while attacked through shear strength and coordination. He showed me that the tool set is in place and only needs more experience.
And Winslow is Winslow. But he made that great shoelaces grab that was an almost unbelievable show of hand strength and coordination. He can play when he wants to.
Who knows, maybe having Quinn starting will induce him to kick it up a notch mentally. Let's hope for that because they need each other.

Correct me if I am wrong, I think Tom Brady and the Patriots ran a similiar offense (short Passes) during their first couple of Super Bowl runs.
Considering it's almost been almost 2 years since his last start, he played great, you can't put the loss on him. I do belive he needs more polish on his Bombs, but he still can be a great one.
