For the hundredth time, I never said Clausen was the same as Cody Hawkins. At the time of the post I showed how similar their numbers were. That was a fact, not an opinion. Clausen has proven himself to still be mediocre at this time in my opinion. He has yet to win a game against a top 40 opponent.

And please link to a dumber VP candidate than Palin in the past 100 years. I dare you to find someone who dropped out of 4 junior colleges before barely graduating from the University of Idaho. I further dare you to find someone who can't name a newspaper that they read.

No, your opinion was that Clausen was mediocre, in fact you said that if he ever came around we could be very good. Those of us who actually watch football and not purely by numbers like a stat-rat could tell that Clausen was NOT mediocre. In fact, if you read old posts many of us predicted how good he would be even this year. And since you are so into numbers, look at your boy Cody's #'s now, and look at Jimmy's. People that know the game could see the growth he was making. People that don't know the game compared him to QB's who can't even keep their jobs despite their daddy being coach.

If you want to be one of those guys that puts EVERYTHING on the QB, then yeah, go ahead and blame Clausen and say he's mediocre because he hasn't beaten a top 40 team in his 8games as a starter this year. Yeah, that's really smart, blame the sophomore QB.

See, the truth is that he's playing w/ NO running game, a below-average line, in a pro-style offense. And yet he has 18 TD's to 9 picks, and a QB rating of 130+. He has tons of room to improve, so by no means is he a finished product. BUt by no means is he mediocre either.

Anyways, I come to this site to talk ND football. I only responded because you called someone dumb, which seemed very ironic. I won't talk politics with you, because you have your mind made up, so what's the point? I'll go to a political board for that. Besides, it's actually pretty fun debating with a guy who thinks Cody Hawkins compares favorably to our beloved Jimmy. Gives my brain a rest from debating people that actually know football. Actually, I graduated from Wharton and from Penn's law school. And guess what? I'm not qualified to be the Vice President. The difference is that I am aware of that fact. Palin was unaware of her own shortcomings and frankly she was McCain's undoing. Just because she believes in Jesus horses rather than dinosaurs isn't a good enough reason to pick her as a VP candidate.

I wasn't bragging about anything. He asked if I had even gone to school. I answered his question.

In fact, I was stating that even with a quality education I was still NOT qualified to be the VP of the U.S. Certainly someone who failed out of 4 junior colleges isn't.
