John Goodman & Dieon Walker

in CW press conference he said that he's been very pleased with both goodman and walker and that they deserved to get some reps with the big boys. i wonder if CW will burn their redshirt during the second half of the season. both john and dieon showed great ball skills in their HS film and should make real good WRs in the future but i wonder if their physical enough right now to play.

IRISHMAN, I think he was saying they're going to get reps in practice this week with the first team to see how they handle it. CW has said since the beginning of the season that they'd have to be in the top 6 WR to be in contention for playing time and I agree that physically they prolly aren't ready.

It would make zero sense to get them some game reps and burn their red shirts. He is just throwing them a bone to keep their moral up in a year they are not going to play.

I agree it would make NO sense to burn their redshirt with our depth at WR right now! If we get Shaq...i have no idea how CW will make all of these VERY talented young WR happy! It is a GREAT problem that we have right now at all of our offensive skill positions!

Get Shaq and we get several other 4 and 5 star recruits who are waiting to see how we fare recruiting wise. They know a national championship depends on our recruiting top players and they all want to win a NC. Go Irish.....get Shaq.

Deion would be great a PR...but Im sure as long as we are winning games, Tate, Floyd, Walker, Goodman, Kumara, and SHAQ (we will get him) will all be quite happy.

I don't think they will see playing time, but you never know.
