I was probably looking too deep to give one individual the game ball for today's performance but, I am giving mine to the offensive line. 476 total yards, 275 passing and 201 rushing -- very good looking runs in the second half (the way we should be hammering 'em) JC had plenty of time to make decisions and they never looked tired or lost their composure.

Kudos Offensive line, keep it up!!!

Couldnt agree more. Offensive line was awesome. Individual wise I would give the game ball to Michael Floyd. This guy is gonna be special. And Kyle Rudolph is starting to come around. Blocking well and running great routes.

It was certainly nice to see our O-line create the holes against a team they are supposed to open them up against. Now lets see them put a few good games together in the run game. Armando looked nice!

O-Line played great, but I'd give the game ball to Harrison Smith. He broke up two 4th down passes in the 4th quarter when Purdue was trying to mount a comeback. Blanket coverage both times.

i have been extremely critical of the offensive line and today they played very well. i have to give credit where credit is due and be as loud with praise as i am with criticism. they really showed me something i havent seen from them yet this year. and i think they will use this as a springboard of sorts into continuing to grow as a unit!!!!

armando allen should get a bit of praise too for being the first hundred yard back we have had in a long time. and a 7.9 yard average.

Game Ball

I think the offense as a whole, deserves a game ball. They have showed flashes early on but they really turned it on in the second half. What really impressed me the most is that Clausen and the recievers were on the same page for pretty much the whole game. They were in sync in reading the defense and they few times Clausen did get in trouble the WR's would come back to the ball. This didn't happen much last yr and contributed to many of the sacks that the Irish gave up. If they can get a consistent running game, this will be a very dangerous offense for years to come.
