Anyone know which current seniors could stay for a 5th year?

The 4th year seniors right now who are getting playing time are:

David Bruton
Evan Sharpley
Mike Turkovich
Paul Duncan
Pat Kuntz
Kyle McCarthy
Steve Quinn

Why wouldn't Anello (sp?) be on your list?

Bruton is not eligible.

Why would Shapley want to come back?

Just went to Scout and looked at the recruiting class and who was getting playing time or in the 2-deep

Personnel Breakdown

Here is a list of the eligibility of everyone on the team. As far as who might come back for a 5th year out of the senior class, it looks like only Asaph Schwapp, Kyle McCarthy are locks, and Anello as long as he keeps up what he's been doing on special teams. Other than that the rest of the seniors have used up their eligibility.

Ray Herring also has a 5th year as he was injured last year. I'm not sure if he would choose to come back, but he is on the 2 deep, has seen some time at safety this year and has played quite a bit on special teams. Scott Smith also has another year (missed his sophomore year with injury), and he's played some in short yardage and special teams. There are others as well, but they may be too buried on the depth chart to get asked back (for example, Kevin Washington).

I was afraid I was going to see Lambert on this list again...4+ years of seeing the back of a number 20 jersey on every big play has gotten really old! I hope Anello comes back...I think his jersey would be a top seller!!!!

don't start this crap again. I'm glad he's back period, but especially given that Walls is not playing this year, it is good he is back. He's not the best CB in history, but he is not bad, and it's nice to have at least one guy out there who's been there before.

and 1 good/lucky game? he's had some bad games, but he's had plenty of good or at least decent ones. Do you really think it would be better with Gary Gray and Blanton and McNeil solely running around out there? maybe in a few years that would be great, but not right now. but I'm sure in a few years you will be wishing a few of them were gone and wanting the new wonder freshmen and sophs. to play.
