I just want to make something clear about my supposedly "negative" posts or, for that matter, the supposed negative posts of others.
I am a die-hard fan of Notre Dame.
I love Notre Dame.
I want Notre Dame to be the absolute best they can possibly be.
So when the performance on the field reflects poorly on the coaching, I am (as well as many others are) going to be disappointed. Pointing out the shortcomings of the coaching staff is not bashing or hating Notre Dame.....
It is simply a fan frustrated by a team that is underachieving.
What's ridiculous to me is that there are people who blindly accept every decision this team and coaching staff makes and attack anyone who questions it.
I love Notre Dame football and I want them to win, so if they do something that's uber-retarded I'm going to criticize it. If I just lined up with the rest of the sheep then it would reflect how little I cared about this team's success....but that's not the case.
Sometimes the truth hurts, but it hurts more in the long run to not recognize it when we need to. I understand everyone wanting to stay positive, and I agree with that, but there is a difference between being positive and living in a fantasy land.
Just please stop shouting down posters on here who are ND fans pointing out legitimate areas of concern.
