Not that I ever trust ESPN any way, but...I was trolling boards looking for Lalota news (all of which looks good for ND according to what I was looking at) and got to his write-up in ESPN. They don't even have Notre Dame as one of the schools he is considering. World wide leader for sports? Phooey.

ESPN does seem to be pretty lazy as far as recruiting is concerned.

I don't believe so. I believe he came with Tyler Stockton. I will double check though.

A PSU board says Lalota did not make it today, but i think the smilie next to this is more telling:

Poor - little to no interest (0-10%)
LaLota, Anthony (OL/DL) - now saying he'll visit on July 23... ("yeah right" smilie)

Oh ya, chick-a chick-a

I have no idea who/what McLovin is, so I'm going with Bueller; more my time i guess.

I think he's related to Ronald McDonald, but he may be referring to Jim McMahon is his hay day as well.

Too bad we don't have JoePatero on this site to ask him how the Lalota recruiting is going!

What makes you think he knows what is going on? He probably does not find out about who they got till the first game.

I think we don't give Joe Pa enough credit, but he's definitely downt to his last year(s)

Credit? He prefers do do his "work" from home instead of on campus, he made only 1 in-home visit last year (Terrell Pryor) and didn't get him, he doesn't wear a headset so he probably has no clue what play is being called. Paterno is just a mascot these days, trying to outlast Bobby Bowden so he can be the top in all time wins (he was givin a "win" two years ago when he had to watch the game from home by the way). I do like seeing him on the sideline though, when his team is down and he's totally clueless.

I take it you don't like Penn State or JoPa.

I've been rooting for F$U the past few years because I would rather Bowden finish with more wins than Slow Pa ( I just made that knickname up).
