i dont buy them i read them. kinda ghetto but it works. if im at a bookstore they are always on the top rack of mags. and someone usually has already opened them

Any idea why it hasn't come out? Has Watt not confirmed this? Any idea what the public holdup is? I thought CW wanted to emphasize that commits had to be open and not be silent?

His decision will come out when he wants to let the media know. I assume within the next few hours. Maybe his parents want to be home from work or eat dinner first. The fact is everyone will be on their toes until they hear it come out of his mouth including me.
A silent is someone that commits and needs a few weeks or even months before they go public. Pham just gave a good post about silents a couple of days ago.

that is an often misunderstood aspect of the CW verbal policy.

The basic policy is you are either all in or all out. If you give a silent verbal but are still out visiting other schools, you're not a verbal at all and the staff will give away your "spot" if someone else wants to make that commitment. I think CW would be okay with a silent as long as the recruit understood those parameters.

from what i have heard.... nobody really knows. theres rumor that hes gonna commit, but nobody can say for sure to who. theres rumblingsthat he may commit here and to somewhere else. but i dont really know

I live in Columbus, OH and I have heard the same thing that was posted earlier. OSU pulled his offer. Some of the other top lineman on their radar were looking elsewhere, so they did not want to get burnt by Watt by waiting.

Really oh my...this is lookin even better now! I am feeling really good about Watt right now...After all of the rumors I've been hearing, I think he is 90% Irish..fwiw. Maybe CW wants him to wait til the weekend to get more exposure to other recruits..

im not too sure if i want to jump head first inot all of these rumors though. i want watt to join the squad and reall solidify this o line more than most, but i am keeping a doubt in my head so if it doesnt happen then i wont be hateful towards the kid

I originally heard he was going to commit to ND on Friday, then people started mentioning Thursday so who know what's really going on?

Good plan. Until he says "I'm Irish" don't hold your breath. Anything can happen nowadays.
