I got to experience the thrill of a lifetime in April. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to go into the ND locker room and walk down that stairwell and touch the coveted signs? When I attended the Coaching Clinic at Notre Dame I got to do these things. It really was the best experience that I can remember. Walking down that stairway towards the play like a champion today was an awesome feeling, then walking out of that tunnel and going towards field. After doing that I can't imagine any recruit not wanting to play for the Irish. I was ready to suit up for the Irish and there wasn't a single spectator in the seats but the feeling was priceless. The tour ended in the press box for the coaches social which was nice talking with the Irish staff and chillin' in the box with the lights on looking down on the field. While I was taking all of this in I just couldn't believe where I was and if I hadn't took many many pictures I don't know that I would have believed it. It was truly pricless.

It's an awesome feeling isn't it? I was lucky enough to get the same experience about 5 years ago when I took a tour with my father. We went into the locker room, but of course couldn't walk too far into the main section. touching the ND sign was great as well. This is an experience all Notre Dame fans would enjoy.

I used to work at Notre Dame during the summers between my college semesters. I was able to walk freely throughout the stadium while we fixed a few things for the up coming season. The feeling is truly amazing! Its characterized well by the scene in Rudy where he gets to go in for the first time as a worker. You can just feel that your in a place of legendary proportions. Echoes seem to come out of the walls. All the great coaches and the speeches that inspired the great wins the make up the mistique of ND. Imagine being in there on a game day, ten minutes before running onto the field! Thats a lot to take in.

It truly is awesome, goldendomer21 you hit the nail on the head. I didn't think I could care more about Notre Dame than I did but I come out there even more of a fanatic for the Irish.
