At this point, he remains very much open on college and is in no rush to make a commitment. Boasting a 3.3 GPA in the classroom, Telfort did say academics would play a major role in his decision and he was extremely proud of his offer from South Bend. Considering what we saw from his limited junior film, the offers should continue to roll in and everyone -- except running backs in his district -- anxiously awaits his return at 100 percent next season.

I worry about his size and how he would fit into our defense. I'm more sold on switching to safety.

If he can put on 20 - 25 pounds by his senior year, he should be fine. A lot of people worried about Poz's size, and he came back from the summer between his junior and senior years much heavier and it was no longer an issue.

Also keep in mind that those numbers are probably from his sophomore year.

By all reports, he may not be fast enough to play safety. IMO, it is easier to make a player big enough to play a position than fast enough.

Frankie was the MVP at a recent Nike camp in Miami. He also named his top 4 as being Notre Dame, Florida, USC and GT

Frankie now says he has no favorites, as he is up to around 30 offers.

In march he claimed distance wont be a factor. Mother favors UF (way early in the process though, i dont know about anymore.). Wants to have a top 5 by his senior season and will make a decision after his season.

Frankie Telfort, an Under Armour All-American, has a change in his top six. He spoke with ESPN affiliate Web site Bucknuts.com about the move.
"I dropped Tennessee and I picked up Duke. I'm looking at Ohio State, Stanford, USC, Duke, Florida and Notre Dame, those six. I scheduled one official visit, Stanford, Jan. 10."
He continued, "I'll take all five official visits. I've seen Florida many times so I don't know if I'll take one there."

Additionally, Telfort is in contact with prized Buckeyes pledge, running back and fellow Under Armour All-American Jaamal Berry (Miami/Palmetto).
"I talked to Jaamal on Sunday. We talk maybe once a week. We've talked about going to the same school. We've discussed it. He wants me to go to Ohio State."

His one official visit he scheduled is stanford, so that actually gives me some hope with this guy. Lets you know that academics are important to this guy, to actually travel to stanford. and he actually was clocked at a legit 4.41 speed at a scout combine, compared to the 4.48 listed above. could be an instant impact player at Notre Dame. maybe i sound crazy saying this, but i would take this guy over teo if he wanted to commit.

This kid looks very good, but let me give you a little info on T'eo. Pete Carroll said he is the biggest linebacker recruit he's ever gone after. Big, as in the best he's ever gone after. And Pete, love him or hate him, knows a thing or 2 about recruiting. Restrictions (or lackthereof) aside, he's probably the best out there right now. And hell, CW went to friggin' Hawaii for basically a cup of coffee just to see this kid T'eo. So, the guy, for a h.s. player, seems to be the real deal. If we could get him, it would be a MONSTER recruit for us. I mean, monster. We're getting Cali kids, Florida kids, Jersey kids, and now a Hawaiin Samoan??? Wow.

Now, I personally think it's BYU (mormon Central), USC, and then us (but I honestly know shit), but even if he did commit, he'd leave for 2 years for his mission. So we still need linebackers, and Telfort (if we have enough schollies) would be a great pickup...

Maybe someone could help but i think it is an NCAA rule to keep a scholarship for a player who cannot perform because of medical reasons
