so i have decided on going to the ND, Michigan game in early September. It has always been a dream on mine to go but for financial reasons i could never get in. I was wondering where you guys think are the best seats in the house for me and my friend (we are each paying for our own tickets). I can only spend $200-$350ish so keep that in mind. Whats the best section to sit in? Also sorry if this is in the wrong section...mod's u can move it.

IMO upper bowl anywhere towards the middle of the field and on the east side. You get a birds eye view of all the action. Original stadium is great but very cramped which is really good for body heat towards the end of the season.

For best price on tickets the corners are a good choice. There really arent any bad seats, you will get a good view from pretty much anywhere.A little advice though, if you have to get end zone seats try to get them on the opposite side of the library so you can have touchdown Jesus in the background if you take pictures.

Great to see another canuck making a trip down to South Bend for a football game. For me, being close in age with the students always tried to sit as near to the student body section as I could. I find that it gives a great atmosphere, decent view of the game and not too hard hitting on the wallet. I suggest the same to you, unless you want a better view. If you want the better view try to get upper deck closer to mid field.

ok thank you to everyone that posted. One other question...how far up is the upper bowl section from the field because i still want to feel that game day intensity rather than being stuck up in the nose bleeds.

As a person who has sat literally everywhere in the stadium (Top Corner, Middle 50, Gold Box Seats, On the Field), I can tell you that there isn't really a bad place to sit in the stadium. I have experienced the excitement of the game from every place in the stadium.

The intensity permeates every square inch of that stadium.

Id say sit anywhere your wallet will let you, probably like everyone said toward midfield. However, if you want the best excitement and best tourist experience get to the pep rally on Friday night. you might have to get there early bc it fills up pretty quickly. I was able to get into one and it sent chills throughout my entire body, its a cant miss experience, IMO.

I was right above the tunnel for my first Notre Dame game. Not the best view in the house, but there is certainly something to be said about having those seats especially when things heat up in the tunnel like they did between Pitt and ND at the game I was at.
