Tpo recruits on the board

This is a collective thread of where we stand with some marquis recruits.

Cierre Wood RB 6'0'' 195 Cierre is down to ND and UCLA. He has been to UCLA multiple times and if he has a good trip to ND don't count out a commitment this weekend. He will be comparing everything ND has to offer against what he knows about UCLA.

Frankie Telfort LB/S 5'11 207 Frankie has listed his top 4 as ND, Florida USC and GT. I think it will be a tough pull to get him, but this is obviously a testiment to the recruiting abilities of our staff. He also received offfers from OSU and Michigan this week. I don't know if that will effect his top 4

Chris Watt OL 6'3'' 280 Chris is down to two teams ND and OSU. He grew up an OSU fan, although I think last years OL haul has been a negetive impact for them. Watt see's the chance for early playing time at ND and I think this will lift us above OSU in the end.

Theo Riddick RB 5'10'' 187 We are in the lead for him over a batch of Big East and Big Ten schools. I would assume that if Cierre did pull the trigger soon that it would put alot of pressure on him, Hilliard and Taylor to snatch the last RB spot. All three are high on ND.

Jordan Barrett LB 6'3'' 225 He will committ this weekend

Nice info. I'm assuming that the Barrett thing is an assumption/prediction rather than fact. I wouldn't expect Wood to commit soon - I think he may see who spends the time pursuing him as the season goes along. I doubt we get Telfort, but it's worth the effort. Watt is going to be another battle, but may end up as T-Rob II if we win out over the childhood favorite. I think Riddick will be ND, but again I doubt he will commit soon - maybe towards the end of the summer (just a feeling).

Riddick and Wood would be a hell of a pair to bring in (Riddick has got to weigh more than 187 - he looks a lot like Hughes at his age) more thunder and lightning duos.

What about Shrive? Or was this list only people that are visiting for B&G?

It came from the same source that said Wood will commit if he has a good weekend visit at ND. I was schocked when I got the info about Wood and said no way.
