Brandon got a contingent offer recently, meaning if he visits we will offer. He has said that he wants to try to make it this spring or summer.

The Sioux City Journal had a really good write-up on Brandon yesterday. One of the things it mentioned was that he's going to make an unofficial visit next week. I've followed Bishop Heelan very closely for years so I've seen him play quite a few times. He's very impressive, but the level of competition is not top shelf. Everyone knows though that he has no control over that. Shoot, the football here in Iowa just can't even come close to Texas or Florida.
His dad was a little all-American at South Dakota State. Brandon seems to be very driven as he continues to get bigger, stronger and faster.
One other note. I heard him say somewhere that where ever he goes, he wants to be more than a mediocre player. Says he wants to have an impact. Gotta like those aspirations.
