You can earn vBucks (Fake Cash) through various ways, posting, starting threads that other people post in, bank interest, winning the lottery, winning bets in the sports book, donations from other posters, and joining the Varsity Club.

You can then use that money in a variety of ways in the vbPlaza. One of the options there is your personal bank account where you can store your vBucks and earn interest if you wish. Your total bankroll is the combined figures of your cash on hand and the money in your bank account.

Watch out for vBank Robberies though... I have been told they occur from time to time

I was going to ask the same thing.

I've been a little busy lately and haven't had time to post. Would someone kindly explain why I'm broke.

The mods decided to reset everybodies $$ after it got to the point of billiionaires and then those that had 1,ooo. So the reset occurred and they set all VC members up with 10,000 vbucks and non VC with 1,000. After 1 day, there was a flaw in the system that several highly skilled users exploited and soon had up to 100,000 again, while most non-members were still at 1,000. So on the morning of the 28th a second reset at the same levels occurred after the system flaws were fixed. Now you have the same base with most people having close to the same amount. Now you can still get a 1 time v$25,000 if you join the VC (which I did) and soon became richer than most.

If you bet on the games in the Sports book, you can make more (which I lucked out on).

It wasn't looted, check the announcement at the top of the forums or read through the thread titled Vbucks Reduction.

There are other ways to make money as well. Posting will earn you money as well as starting threads that spark discussions, bank interest, theifing someone, wining the lottery, or even by mod donations by helping to give updates or writing a high quality post.

We'll probably give some away as the prizes for the upcomming March Maddness Contest as well.

I used to have over $10,000,000 in my bank. Now I have none (except what I moved today). Has there been some issues with this lately?
