I hate to win on a ND lose but they do not play good teams well on the road!!!! Louisville poor free throw shooting is the only thing that kept this game close! Depending on where they play in the NCAA Tourney I look for an early exit because they will have a tough 5 or 6 seed....next year will be a different story!

I totaly agree with what you say. I just didnt want to be the first to say it. Notre Dame kept battling last night and Harangody looked like a beast. I'm glad they didnt get their asses wiped like they did against Marquette and Georgetown earlier. Now if Louisville would have hit their free throws then we would have lost by probly 15-17 points. That being said, Notre Dame is NOT a good road team against good teams therefore I look for an early exit as well with us getting a 5 seed and possibly losing in the first round (for the 2nd year in a row) against a 12 seed. Those 12 seeds are dangerous. Next year though we will be a little bit better hopefully.

Yeah I was smiling. I was pumped for the big guy to hit those 3 balls. That was great.

Harangody would be crazy to leave early, whether he was at ND or not. He is a GREAT college basketball player, but he is not an NBA player yet. I dont know what position he would play b/c he is not big enough to play center. Back to the game, I have to say going in I did not expect them to win, but i loved the fight that they showed. I do expect them to win out and win at least a game in the big east tournament. and i think that will put them at 4 or 5 depending on the way some other things fall. their rpi, which i think is stupid, but the committee looks highly upon, was 13 going into last nights game. i dont know what they finished last year but i know they were never that high.

also remember this, louisville was preseason top 5 and they are now a popular sleeper pick for the final 4, so losing to them by 5 on the road is no disgrace. this is not like the uconn game where we blew it. we fought hard to the end, but they are just a better team

ND07 I agree with you but after reading that article on him and how determined he is I wouldn't be surprised if he stayed all 4 years to see how far he can take them in the tournament ( of course that could be just wishful thinking ). He is so determined to succeed; like last night when there was a loose ball at the opposite end of the court and he beats their guard to it and controls his dribble and then throws it off the guy as he is flying out of bounds .............Brey needs to find more of that from some others.

I do not see him leaving until after next year but he could definitly play in the NBA!!!!! PF/C type...Big Ben, Drew Gooden, Stoudmaire, Anderson Verajon...etc. I am not saying he is as good as these guys yet just that this is the type of position he will play in the NBA. He dropped 40 against one of the toughest big men in the country...I think he would be a lottery pick this year if he left early...he won't but if...
