It could be real easy to sulk and mull over what could have been last Wednesday when the Irish had an opportunity to beat Connecticut. Thank goodness for Rutgers!

Ok. I have a problem with this. Lets not underestimate Rutgers here people. Back on January 23rd Rutgers beat #18 Villanova 80-68 (When they were good b4 getting rocked with injuries). and on January 26th their next game they beat #17 Pitt 77-64.

Yeah yeah yeah, I know you all are saying "but its freeking Rutgers". Yes it's Rutgers people and they stink and are the door mat of the Big East. BUT they are known for being giant killers and at this point they have nothing to lose.

In the meantime we all know how Notre Dame does on the road and we all know how inconsistent we are and and the same time we know that we dont usually close out games very well if we have a lead. So therefore can we REALLY say that we can "Bounce" back with a win against rutgers???? You be the judge.

They beat a depleted Pitt team. I personally believe the Irish will win fairly easily. Rutgers has a hard time getting the ball through the net, while ND is one of the best. Plus the Irish dominate teams that are not very tall. RU's tallest player is 6-11, and that's very generous. Plus he's awful. I could go on and on about Rutgers, but I would be wasting a lot of folks time, and mine.

Hmmm. You're right on some spots. But I'm still not putting my money on the Irish. They're just too inconsistent for me.

Of course, this DOESN'T excuse Wednesday night. By the way, UConn just snuck by SOUTH FLOIDA by one in OT. What SHOULD have been!

I only have one word mbooch. FRUSTRATING! I'm frustrated with this team most of the time. We have to beat Rutgers. If we dont beat Rutgers then we need some serious help.

Good word. I agree. Let's hope they look better tomorrow. They tip off at noon on ESPN Full Coourt and 360. Means I probably won't see it.
