Dumbest Things Given Up For Lent

Ok, this thread is dedicated to the dumbest things you or someone you know has ever given up for Lent. Since I was just making fun of my sister for this, I offer her idea from when she was in high school:

I will not listen to any "secular" music during Lent.


hahaha. I know this isn't the spirit of Lent, but what does everyone else have? Kinda like Golic not being able to make fun of Greeny.

hahahaha ..... she is upstairs feeding the baby.... I value my life, I know when to post comments like that.... I dont want to go to work again with a black eye and have to try to explain to my co-workers about 'falling down the stairs' again

Will Wolford told a funny story on his radio show. His teenage daughter ordered a Pepsi when they were in a restaurant. He was shocked, because he had never seen her drink Pepsi before. She only drank Sprite. When he asked her about it, she said "I gave up Sprite for Lent".
