Obviously, according to Roger, HGH didn't do anything to help Andy's memory.

Why is this front page news while we had primaries that occured yesterday? Aren't we at war?

We are more concerned about Britney and Roger Clemens HGH use than the direction of our country. Check out CNN.COM. That is the lead story. Sickening.

Dude, I totally agree. I really never understood why Congress felt the need to get involved in this matter the begin with. Major League Baseball is a privately owned entity and I don't understand why baseball needs interjections from Congress to address a problem that exists within its operation.

I would really love to know how much of our tax paying dollars are being spent to orchestrate an elaborate circus here. I have been watching this thing almost all morning on CNBC and I can't believe how outrageous this has become.

Congress has escalated this to a point that I cannot understand its reason. If there is a legal issue then it should be dealt with by the proper authorities, DEA maybe, I don't know, but I don't get why these congress men and women feel the need to address this. I for one don't buy the whole "we have to protect our kids from drugs" when you have Heath Ledger dying from an OD and the countless other celebrities in and out of rehab like its a 7-11 without any criticism from Congress.

I appologize if I have been one who has keep this issue alive here on IE as I do realize that it has been beaten to death and has become absolutely absurd, I just have taken an intrest in this because of my love of baseball and because sadly, this is the offseason and there is little else that draws my attention such as this.

From what little I watched and what I've read so far .... it sounds like Rocket is getting killed for the most part.

McNamee took a few hits for admitting that he lied previously by not coming forth with the some info previously and the fact that he appears to be the only one that remembers Clemens being at Canseco's party.

Unless something changes dramatically I would say best case scenario is that Clemens doesn't get busted for perjury, but 80% of the fans will believe that he did use Steroids and HGH leaving the hall of fame highly in doubt. Worst case scenario is he gets busted for perjury and does jail time thus assuring he will never get in the hall of fame.

Anybody know what the definition of "is" is? Any way, I get fed up with these media circuses we have created any more. There are regettably a hundred murders in this country every day (not a counting abortion) and the media will pick out one that is the "most compelling" or "most watchable", blah, blah, blah. Meanwhile we have soldiers putting their lives on the line every for us, but the media could give a crap less about that, unless they get to focus on some bad news.

Quick answer? What I hear is that the Dems were pretty hostile to Clemens. So WHY is this in Congress? Because some day soon, Barry Bonds is going down for perjury, and the Dems want to line up on the right side of the race card. They'll se tehir preosecution of Clemens to show that THEY aren't racist. Since these are politicians, all this is about is the ability to demagogue. Vote for None of the Above!

Honestly, these things remind me of witch hunts!!! It is a few people saying a certain person used steriods and with no real proof the player is "burned at the stake"...left out of the hall of fame. I guess I would just like to see some proof before the careers of people are totally ruined!!!

It's one thing to say "misremember" once, but it's another thing when the people responding to you are saying "DISremember" and you proceed to use the incorrect version on an additional 50-60 instances.
