Key thing in the rankings that Akron is showing..."avg stars". We are #2 on Rivals and Scout but some how all the way at #9 on ESPN! ESPN is a total joke and their recruiting coverage was horrible yesterday...made me wish they had some competition!!!

I agree. My PC has been down, so not much access for me. I was stuck watching the pathetic ESPN coverage. If a kid isn't in the ESPN 150, they hardly mentioned them at all.

ESPNU's coverage yesterday was total junk all day long. The show on NFL Network wasn't much better.

I watched pretty much all day, and though I truely don't care, its very apparent that ESPN, or atleast their recruiting crew, harbors a large bias against ND. Its really a shame, because it was a great story that ND could pull this kind of class after the season they had, it truely does speak volumes about the school itself and the tradition it carries.

They are just stating that ND has the highest quality per recruit this thread. Not overall standings. For instance the gap between Bama and ND wasn't too big yet it took Alabama "signing" nine more guys than ND to gain that lead.

CSTV's coverage was great. I watched it later in the day when I got home from work. Lemming may be the only bigger ND homer than Lou...and it makes me smile. It's a great contrast from most of the anti-ND bias you see just about everywhere else in broadcast media.
