I did watch the catch up show last night. I needed it because i forgot half of what they showed.

But Charlie is pretty much dead as in doornail :-(

i gave up on the plot awhile back once they started getting all physic-y. I can only keep track of one dimension at a time

i remember back to the first season when the big question was "is the mystery monster a dinosaur?" ahh, those were simpler times.

i know. first it was flashbacks that you had to keep track of. now they are having flashforwards.

and you gotta keep track of which group of others are roaming the islands. all very confusing. now with the boat "rescue" people, there's a whole new group to keep track of.

i just wish creepy Ethan was still around to sneak up on people in the dark when it was raining.

my favorite episode was the 1st of season 2 when they show Desmond going through his wake-up routine and "Make your own kind of music" by Mama Cas is playing in the background. since then, they haven't topped themselves IMO. although Juliet making muffins was kinda hot... i mean the oven was hot...

I actaully did. However i did not know it was on so i did not pick it up until about 30 mins into the episode... It was kinda cool how they did the words at the bottom.. Someone had a little too much fun writing that haha....

so SI and RamMan, what did you think of the return of Lost? (and I was wrong, Weds night was last season finale, the one-hour recap was just before the new episode last night.)

i thought they still took forever to move the plot along. i guess that'll never change.

I liked it. You have to give up the idea of trying to figure it all out and just enjoy the ride. I love the idea of flashforwards and "we have to go back"

plus, apparently only six got off the island. Jack, Hurley and Kate. who are the other 3 and why just 6?

i bet sawyer is one of them. remember in the season finale, Jack went to someone's funeral and no one else showed up. no family, no friends, no one. when he asked whether Kate saw the obituary, she acted like "why would I go to that jerk's funeral." the only people she would act like that towards are Ben, Locke, and Sawyer. since neither Locke nor Ben would chose to leave the island, i doubt it's them.

it appears the people who "rescue" them only offered the deal to people who would keep the secret of the island's existence. or maybe everyone else was killed.

so that leaves two more.

Interesting thought about Michael and Walt. I guess I assumed the "rescue" Ben promised wasn't real and that they're now stuck in some dharma lab somewhere. But that would make some sense. But if Michael died, you would think at least walt would be there. We'll see.

but Walt could have turned on his dad after realizing how he sold out the rest AND maybe finding out about Michael killing Ana and that other woman. That would really make it sad. And Kate would turn her nose up but Jack has that whole conflicted father-son relationship of his own going on so he might see Michael differently.

I need a pysch degree.

your bringing up of Michael and Walt is interesting. I never really believed they were "rescued" and made it back to mainland US, mostly cuz Ben is a liar.

this also poses another PR problem for keeping the crash/island secret: how is it that Michael and Walt are "rescued", they would have been rescued, what, 60 days ago? how is it walt and michael are "found" but the other 4 aren't "found" until 60 days later. think of it from someone from mainland US who hears about the crash and then learns of two seperate groups of "rescued" survivors. weird

i wonder if Michael and Walt were in fact rescued, if that triggered people to send Naomi's boat to be out looking for the island. it could have been the EM pulse emitted when Des turned the key too, i suppose.
