I was just interested on who's everybody's favorites are. There are so many! Who and why? My favorite of all time has gotta be Jerome "The Bus" Bettis. He was amazing. I went to my first ND game and he scored a few TD's and rambled for a 100 plus. It was just a great site to see him shrugging off tackler after tackler. He worked so hard and deserved everything he got. He has a great personality and represented ND and the Steelers with such great class. He will always be my favorite for many reasons.

2. A close second, Rocket Ismail. Simply the most electrifying player I have ever seen. He was the perfect college player who excelled at a variety of positions and did whatever good ole' Lou had him do. He was a scary returner and great flanker. He probably could have been an all-american on either side of the ball. He also was a very humble guy and didn't complain at all about not winning the heisman.

3. Tim Brown- Do I even need to say anything, great athlete and class act. What an athlete! Ran great routes and had some of the best hands I've ever seen. He represented ND well and came from TX and stuck it out, even though he was homesick.

Rick Mirer. Our moms are friends and used to have ajoining class rooms untill his retired, my sister knew him in high school, and his best friend was my JV coach.

1. Joe Theissman - My folks took us to ND when he was up for the Heisman. That was the first (and only) time I've been to SB. That's when I fell in love with ND. He still holds the school record for most passing yards in a single game with 526 against USC.

2. Raghib Ismail - Just an amazing athlete. I loved watching him run.

3. Brady Quinn - His junior & senior seasons were just phenomenal. The biggest turn-around I've ever seen. (I hope to see Jimmy do the same thing. He can and will be better than Brady.)

Fitz- I loved Zibby too. He definetly has been my fav since he got here and when he wrote that journal for ESPN.com on his recruitment. He was a competitor, and had an edge to him in which I loved. NDFan- I was lucky enough to meet Joe before the home opener last year and he was a class act. Maury from Pats Pub had extra tickets to get into the Tent thing where Zorich and Theismann were signing autographs along with free alcohol, I couldn't complain! He was a great guy and he had no problem signing extra things for me so I could give them to my family.

Clausen2Kamara---That's when I first started loving Zibby man, that recruiting blog made me cry the way he talked about the Irish it was like I was writing it, if I had been a D1 recruit instead of an NAIA recruit.

I was going to say, how could anyone leave off Zorich. I loved the days of Bettis and Brooks, not running around people, not speeding past them, but running OVER them.

Rocket of course, Timmy Brown, Quinn and the Shark, Edwards was great as well.
