Hey GG, with that speed and a 25.5 yard per catch average, what are the odds this guy is recruited as a receiver? Or do colleges anticipate him bulking up? That would be a monsterous mismatch at 6-8. He seems to fit the mold of tall lanky receiver Weis likes; is he getting D1 interest?

I really don't know much about him other than what's listed, but I would think that with his measurables he will get plenty of D1 interest, and I wouldn't be suprised to see him eventually become a college TE if he were to significantly bulk up over the next two years given his height. Rember that he is just starting his Jr. year in high school so his body could potentially change quite a bit before he ever steps foot on a college campus as a student.

His first season with Glewnwood was great for the team but not alot of Ball time for Donnie. Hard to break into a small town team, the games he had ball time had great results. Still averaging approx 25 yds per reception.

He is indeed 6'8" and in the combine he attended this past summer his 40 was a 4.49 and Standing reach 100 Jumping Reach 132 Vertical 32 and Broad 9'10" shuttle 4.7.

Just before leaving Florida he was nominated best Tight End in Central Florida as a Sophomore by FridayNightFootball.net, lost to a Senior. Donnie was the only sophomore ever nominated by their organization in it's history.

Donnie also plays Basketball, Varsity since entering High School and he went to state in the High Jump for Glenwood last year with his Personal Record of 6'8", he was seeded # in the state going in but placed 5th....as a Sophomore.

I personally think this kid is for real and will get interest on the Basketball front as well

This is got to be one skinny kid. He'll have to do quite a bit of bulking up I would think.

He is actually pretty solid. You would be suprised. He works out all the time and really takes care of himself. He knows what it takes to succeed and he is working on that every day.

he is only a Junior, he has time for bulk. He is very talented and knows how to use every inch of his 6'8" frame.

No just a friend of the family and a fan. He also plays Basketballand his personal record for the high Jump is 6'8" in his Sophomore year. He went to State ranked # 1.

He want to play football and that is where his heart is, the other sports he said he does so he doesnt get bored.
