from what I can tell, the NCAA operates much like a large government = ineffective. (remind me again why people think government run health care is a good idea?)i wonder what happens to these hotshot recruits when 24 hours after signing day they are yesterday's news and just a freshman three back on the depth chart?
I'm guessing he can do it because he's in high school, but that sure isn't how you want to start your college career. Notice it says he may attend UM or Oregon, and no mention of OSU.
Yeah, he's not enrolled in a college so the NCAA has nothing to say about it. Also, his high school career is over so the state of Pennsylvania can't do anything either. Interesting loophole, I'm surprised that more kids don't make some book money this way.
Actually, now that I think of it, if Pryor gets any of this money, he'd be considered a "professional" athlete which would put his college career in jeopardy. I have to assume that he's going to claim that he gave the wristbands away for free to a friend who then sold them on EBay.
