Pryor will be a Qtrbk. at a big school. ND has about as much chance of landing him as a DE/OLB as a snowball in hell. What are you guys smoking?

Yeah um, I don't think anyone every really thought Proyor would end up at ND. ND recruited him as a WR/ATH most of the time too.

Seriously, none of us true followers of ND actually thought we had a chance...To tell u the truth, he simply doesn't fit our system. He'd just give us another D Jones debacle...

Guys I live in the Pennsylvania close to the team that just lost to Pryor's team in the state championship. But he plays in a Division 2 league there is no tough competition for him. I truly believe he is over rated. He is a tremendous athlete I am not doubting that but once the level of competition rises and he is not the most outstanding athlete on the field i truly believe he will struggle for quite some time. He was nothing better than a tremendous athlete playing in a very weak class. Will Hill could have done the same thing if on that team this year.

IMHO Pryor would be best off as a Wide Receiver. He is going to be a very good college qb if he gets in the right system, but he isn't a very good passer at this stage. Hopefully this kid has an incredible career though besides when he has to play ND. He can have a career game against us as long as we win:)

Bullshit, not if he's playing for scUM. If he signs w/ scUM I hope that he's a total "flop", whether they're playing ND or not!!!

Couldn't the same thing have been said about Clausen last year though?

Add to that that Clausen was surrounded by tons of talent AND played at a low competition level.

You could say that, but it would be incorrect.

Can you just hear the screaming in Columbus if Rodriguez steals him out from under Tressel?

Did anyone else just notice that Pryor had the Buckeye leaf sticker at the bottom of his helmet like all of the other OSU verbals?

They said Posey put it on there without him knowing. Non the less though he was pointing to it. I think it'll come down to scUM and O$U and after watching him today I hope to God he isn't running the spread at scUM against ND.

I honestly wasnt impressed with Pryor. Hes a good player but not the Number one player in the nation. The west defense just didnt look that good.

Sorry but Pryor is a stud...I do not want to play against him at Michigan but live in Ohio so I am torn. All I know is things like that little touch pass and a few of those runs were he flew by everyone really showed me his true potential.

You guys gotta be kidding me. People doubted him all year because he plays AA ball in PA. He put that argument to rest today. He played against the best and was still the best. I have no problem with him being rated the #1 player in the country

He's good, but he looks nowhere near 230lbs, and he didn't throw enough passes to get a read on his arm.

I think the pass he threw to John Goodman was pretty nice as he got blasted by a linebacker...

On tv he may not look that big but if you see the kid in person you would feel differently. He's 6'6" and has a solid build...easily 230 lbs.

I definitely do not want this kid going to michigan!

You probably weren't impressed because it doesn't look like he's even trying out there. He has long legs, and a smooth stride for such an usually long gate. His passing skills will need improvement, but he has more than enough talent to carry a team to a national title so long as he goes to one of the Big Schools.

If Pryor were coming to ND, we would be talking about how many championships we would have with the great Clausen/Crist/Pryor trio all getting reps, and putting all three in on one play to confuse JoePa.

And provided that he can stay out of trouble...

That's an annoying tacked-on comment. As far as I know, he is far from being a Willy Williams type player who will throw his career away. (For those of you who don't remember, Willy Williams was "The Next Ray Lewis" who, a mere two years ago, threw his career away to drugs and crime and general incompetence.)

Hey, I'm allowed to have my opinion. I wouldn't be suprised at all if he couldn't make it through college without getting into some type of trouble.

Then if he does ESPN will probably make him out to be some great story ala Troy Smith.

I have my opinion, too. Personally, I think you are talking complete non-sense and have nothing to back it up, hence the "I'm allowed to have my opinion" B.S. instead of real arguments as to why we'll end up seeing Pryor in trouble. Have you read about all the nice things he does for people??? You are talking out of your you-know-what.

Go ahead, have your opinion, but I'd respect you more if you said, "You know what Z-Bo, you're absolutely right, after looking over the stories published about this young man's kindness to others such as the Sports Illustrated story, I've got no dirt I can point to, and all I'm doing is stereotyping this kid."

Here is a quote from UM's top Rivals guy: "One last thing. Tough to be the nation's No. 1 prospect and not have a big ego. I'm not saying Pryor does not have any ego at all, but I was real impressed with his humility and overall disposition down there. He's a good kid on top of being a phenomenal athlete."

Again, keep sharing your opinion publicly - so long as you let me publicly point out you have no facts to support it :)
