How were the army all star players picked?

My son said yesterday that he was watching it at a pub and most of the crowd was complaining that NBC picked so many Irish not based on ability but based on $$$ for their contract. Some of the crowd were asking for the game to be muted

Some of the crowd must have been Michigan, Florida, Boston College or Usc fans. All jealous little bitches that they dont have their own contract. You know what I say to those fans????? Lick my right testicle and make my left one jealous.

He said it was mostly Alabama and Georgia fans. Their point was that they have the #2 and #3 classes but their programs and recruits were rarely mentioned and few were invited

I know what youre saying. Actually though Alabama and Georgia were mentioned plenty. Those fans must have been too liquored up.

That's because the one's that were in the game had no impact on it

It's a mix of things, but NBC didn't have anything to do with it. Tom Lemming helps by giving the group that runs the game a list of suggestions, but they have the final say. Neither NBC, Rivals, or the Army has a single thing to do with picking the teams.

My son said he asked them "If NBC offered UGA a tv contract that would broadcast your games across the country every week, would you turn it down? No. Would you think it was unfair to other schools and say No Thank You Mr. NBC? No. So its a little hypocritical to complain about ND"

I think they're really complaing that we're ND and they're not. They will never have the tradition, the campus, the wins the Heismans, and the fans that we have. Go Irish!
