This time of year, I feel sorry for non-teachers

crazy as it is.

Today, we wrote resumes to be an elf for Santa. They had to come up with talents, experiences and personality traits of why they should be hired.

Here are a few.
-I worked at customer service at Target so if the kids don't like their toys they can talk to me.

-I am good with animals but don't put me with the reindeers. I already clean up my dog's poop.

- Kids don't make me nervous.

- I have good printing for the nice and bad list. Ask Ms. A (references, we didn't even discuss that)

-Hire me. I would look cute in elf clothes.

-I am quiet and sneaky like a burglar.

So cute. Worth all the insanity

The one that wrote they would look good in elf clothes, I'm hoping that was a girl.

Haha I thought you taught 1st grade. Or does this little one like to tell stories?

I asked her about that. Her aunt works customer service at Dillards but she didn't know how to spell that store :)

Tomorrow they are writing about what it would be like having a bright, red shiny nose.

While they were writing and doing the art project ( I took head shots of them and glued them on contruction paper. They made themselves wearing elf clothes) I played holiday music. Jimmy Buffet's reggae Jingle Bells and The Temptations Rudolph are favorites.

Impossible to feel grinchy this time of year
