Let me just say that there is NO doubt in my mind that Hawaii ought to be playing in the MNC game. I'd vote them #1 if I could. What a disaster of a season. This is clearly a case where the old system would have been better: just let a bunch of the good teams play each other and then sort things out. OSU-UGA is going to be such a joke ...

BYU won the MNC when they beat 6-5 Michigan. Hawaii still needs to beat Washington tonight. I think Washington kicks em. At least Wash lets 'em know what it's like to get hit.

oh yes. My high school team, the reigning state champs, was supposed to win last night also. but they did not. if they won, i would be going down to the Georgia Dome next weekend to watch them AND Omar Hunter and Jamoris Slaughter since THEIR teams also won.

the only good thing is that there was no sports book on the WVU Pitt game because i was going to bet my whole bank

UW draws blood first. They lead Hawaii 7-0 in the middle of the 1st.

But. Washington was stopped and forced to punt and Hawaii made a stupid mistake of having 12 men on the field and gave Wash the first down.

But for the penalty, Hawaii would be marching down the field to their first TD

UW just went up 14-0 and to make matters worse Colt Brennen just went down with a left ankle injury.

Washington just added another TD to go up 21-0 with 5:23 left in the 1st. But of couse they couldn't find 11 guys to go kick an PAT.

Hawaii wants to make sure Ty doesn't lose his job. Apparently it's because he has so many memberships to golf courses there in HI.

Washington's first 21 points were all off turnovers, and stupid turnovers at that. Granted Washington converted, but they've only had one scoring drive that did not start off a HI turnover.

WA defense is in trouble if HI can hold onto the ball.

Locker looks like he has alot of potential as a QB.

But the announcers just mentioned something i thought was funny. They said Locker played in a T-wing offense in HS, so he's had a good bit of learning to do as a passer.

Isn't that typical of Ty, to recruit someone that doesn't fit in your offense, then give him the reins and ask him to carry you?

Hawaii held, drove back down the field and scored. HI 21-28, just before the half. This one is far from over for two reasons, 1) Hawaii, June Jones and Brennan know how to come from behind. 2) Ty is well... Ty

Hawaii just tied it up, 28-28. first score in the 2nd half for either team with 8 mins left in the game. HI has missed two field goals from 50 and 48 yds, WA had 1 FG attempt blocked.
