Well, tonight's 21-14 win by the Sons of Erin marked an end of a broadcasting era...this concluded the 40 year partnership between the University of Notre Dame du Lac and Westwood One,the leader in play-by-play radio sports. I enjoyed some of the good and the bad with the Irish for a few years, but I enjoyed listening to the Irish on the radio. But now the question is:Who will be Notre Dame's new radio broadcast partner beginning in 2008? ESPN Radio could be a good choice, but here in Pittsburgh,I would not hear the games because 1250 has Penn State football. If there is a new network that would cover the Fighting Irish in 2008,please let me know.

OT: Sorry, threadjack.

Are you originally from California? You're a Padres, Sac Kings, Chargers and LA Kings fan. Either that or you've got left coast envy.

No,I'm not from California,I am from Canonsburg,PA and I love these California teams. The only California college I love? It's not USC,UCLA,Stanford or Cal...it's the Saint Mary's Gaels from Moraga, which is near Cal-Berkeley!
