Arkansas and LSU just went to overtime, and A&m leads UT 31-17 early in the 4th.

So what is the possibility of a 2-loss team making the championship? The winner of Kansas and Missouri could very well lose to Oklahoma/Texas in the Big 12 Championship, and if West Virginia loses to UCONN or PITT, who is left? Ohio State in my opinion will be in the National Championship, and if either Kansas, Missouri, or West Virginia does not win out, then I think that Georgia or USC or maybe even LSU would sneak in. My prediction is Ohio State vs. USC in the Championship with USC winning it all.

Not likely. OSU is done playing and they only have one loss. WVU would have to lose to UConn or Pitt, Mizzou would have to beat KU, and then get beat by Oklahoma, and a two loss team would have to jump KU in the standings. BTW Texas is basically done. Even if OU lost they would have to have a higher BCS ranking than OU to play in the Big 12 championship game and that isn't going to happen.

University of Hawaii is officially added to my list of approved schools for my son. I would hate to have to fly their every month or so to see him. I'll sacrifice though.

I'm a little suprised they couldn't get enough interest from athletes to jump up to the Pac-10. You'd have to think if they were to join a BCS conference they'd start to get more interest and they could eventually be in the top third of the Pac-10 every year. Then they could just add Boise State to make 12. Boise St. is already in the Pac-10 for wrestling. Either that or Hawaii, Bosie St. and Fresno St. could all join the Mountain West which would give them 12 and they could try to get a BCS big, plus it would reunite Hawaii and BYU in the same conference. Hawaii's only big hang up right now is that they don't offer official visits because of the cost.

BTW, Hawaii leads 19-17 just before halftime.

I thought I heard the announcers say during their last game that the coaches don't leave the island for recruiting because of the cost either.

I'm not sure about that. I don't ever recall hearing about it one way or the other but if that's true then that would make it very difficult to recruit anyone outside of the islands.

Hawaii beats Boise St 39-27 to win the WAC title. They play Washington next week.

i think my soccer player son should walk on to Hawaii. He is a goalkeeper and can boot that ball. I am suggesting this as soon as he gets up. We don't need an official visit, I can just tell it would be a great fit for me. i mean him.

So does it seem to everyone that Hawaii definitely deserves a BCS bid? Obviously they shouldn't be in the NC game b/c of the schedule they've played, but given what Boise State did last year I'd say that Hawaii deserves the same shot. I for one would be terrified to play them ...

Lou Holtz just predicted that if West Virginia loses today or next week that USC has a very good shot at playing OSU in the championship. I honestly dont think that the winner of Kansas/Missouri will beat Oklahoma.
