I lost a ton. IMO, McFadden is should win the HEisman hands down!
If it truly goes to the BEST player in college football, there's no question in my mind.
As a RB, he doesn't have to be on the best team or a NC contending team.
As a QB, it may be a different story as every Heisman QB since Carson Palmer has been on a NC-contending team.
If you want to give it to one of the kids at KU or Mizzou, you can, but it's the equivalent of giving it to Troy Smith last year.
McFadden ran for 3 TDs, threw for 1 TD and rushed for approx. 180 yds in regulation vs. the number one team in the nation. 'Nuff said.

I hope that CW has been watching how these guys run their offenses. This type of O is a winning formula for way too many teams. Our offense looks so vanilla and slow compared to what I just watched. We have the athletes to run some plays like this. How about putting Allen, Hughes and Tate on the field together. Run Tate in motion with Allen and Hughes on the wings. It makes a D guess as to who is getting the ball. Do NOT make it easy on the D.

Yeah, if Nutt leaves or gets canned, his OL coach will be looking for a job. He's turned a lot of unheralded OL into NFL players. Then again, so did Latina at Ole Miss.

Keep it simple, stupid!

Ole Miss's OL coach is very good too. Chances are that staff will be gone too. UM's OL coahes are yet another possibility too. They use the same scheme that CW wants too and they've turned out some pretty good OLs up there as well.

I doubt that Kehoe is going anywhere as Ole Miss officials have confirmed that Orgeron is in no danger of losing his job.

Michigan changed to the zone blocking scheme and it worked well. My guess is they had a veteran OL that could pick up the scheme quicker.

Unless an OL coach is on the same page as Weis when it comes to blocking schemes & offensive philosophy, it won't matter what their resume looks like b/c I don't think Weis lets the OL coach determine the schemes.

I could be totally off base, but it's the only theory I have b/c Latina has obviously been successful on the D1 level w/ less regarded recruits.

Was that before or after they gave up 17 4th quarter points to lose by 3 to their biggest rival?

I watched that game. The announcers reported Orgeron's status during the game. Whether or not their implosion in the Egg Bowl leads to a knee-jerk change of heart by the administration/boosters remains to be seen. I'd say he's safe.

Ok, I only watched a little bit of it so I was unsure when it was mentioned.

You get the Liberty Mutual SEC broadcasts in Indiana?
I hate that broadcast b/c it supercedes the ABC national game. Luckily, another local affiliate usually picks up the ABC game.
Liberty Mutual SEC game of the week ends up being the default MSU channel as it ends up broadcasting most of their games b/c CBS & ESPN pick up the decent match ups.

Yeah, one of our local stations that's owned by World Harvest Television carries those broadcasts and they also replay the local high school game of the week, but don't get me started on that. They used to carry one of the early Big Ten games that would air on ESP plus but with the start of the Big Ten network they switched to the SEC games. Then our local ABC usually picks up an early Big East game that airs on EPSN+.
