Yeah, that was just one run. There are plenty of "goal line backs" that can make 2-3 yards. I really wanted to see him run as if he were the feature back. He did that yesterday.
He seemed to be seeing the holes better than anyone else and ran over people in the process. Like I said, I'd like to reserve judgment until I see him run against better competition, but I certainly like what I saw yesterday.

Hughes had a very good game. he Should have a good game...after all we were playing Duke. I'd like to see him & Allen in the backfield together. IT would be great to see ND run the ball effectively next week agoinst Stanford ....and have that carry intyo 2008

If they just turn out to be Denson and Edwards, I think I will be happy. Especially if Kamara, Parris and Tate can turn out to be Mayes, Stovall, and Rocket-esque.
