being what a real domer is all about. I mean this kid just did not quit. He is a fighter. I remember following his recruitment process years ago...This kid was an all-state wrestler in Minnesota and he just has the heart of a lion. I would just feel bad if I didn't mention this. He has represented ND to its fullest in his time here and has the led the D for years. He has done whatever is asked of him and he just wants to win. He leads the team in tackles and yet all he cares about is the W. So Trevor, as a fan, I'd just like to say thanks..I hope my fellow domers agree...

(Damn! I wish I knew how to start a thread. I'd have LOVED to have started that one!)

He seems like a surfer, then goes and plays like a man on fire.

Hope the Ravens take him, he would be a dominant player in their 3-4

Right Division, wrong team. Trevor Laws has "Steelers" written all over him.

Steelers....ugh (lifetime love for BMore)

Random anecdotal story - I left during the draft this past year when no one was taking Brady to go play a little foobaw. My friend called me and asked if I was sitting down. I said sure whatever just tell me who drafted BQ. He says 'and with the 22nd pick the Steelers select Brady Quinn'. I screamed F*CK as loud as possible (next to the basilica in dc) and threw my phone across the field' and stormed off. Found out later it was a joke. Needless to say, I got revenge.

I don't think the Steelers have a great nose tackle (correct me if i'm wrong here) like the Ravens do in Kelly Gregg - that frees up so many guys to make plays. Plus the Ravens are probably going to try to unload a lot of their veterans on D next year to bring in rookies like Trevor.

In any case, I WANT THOSE DREDS. Badass.

Mostly consistent anyway. BGS breakdown against navy showed several times him just getting owned by a single navy blocker. Though I must admit, I'm a TLaws fan as well, and regularly wrote in his name for the Nissan Heisman.

At one point in the Duke game, he was cut by a RB, got back up in one motion, and still sacked the QB. He reminds me of another one of my current NFL favies...Aaron Kampman for the GB Packers. They both have motors that won't quit. If you watch some of the best players, they're not the ones who dominate others (though they do a good portion of the time), they're the ones that never stop pursuing the opposition by taking great angles.

Laws has been one of the very few bright spots this season. He never quit...I hope the underclassmen watched and learned from that. I would sure like to see him in a Browns uniform on Sunday(besides being an outstanding person, we could sure use the help on the D-Line)

Casey Hampton has been to three Pro Bowls in 5 years. I'd call that pretty damned good.

He's a smart kid, great values, and plays all 60 minutes like it was his final minute.

Best of all, he improves year on year.

He's gonna do great in the NFL.

He's an example of how ND will improve due to our quality recruiting classes, and the players getting better each year. It won't be immediate, but we'll see the benefits soon enough. It calls for some patience.

Laws has been great for ND and in the right system will have a great pro career. I think he is the only on that has a prayer of going in the first round this year from ND!

I agree I think T.Laws should go in the first round. If he doesn't, he won't fall past the 2nd. NFL teams love guys like this.
