Are there any recruits you guys think could change their committments?

It's not anything for sure, but fun to think about.

It would surprise me if they would. Carr retiring isn't the same as firing. Miles is an accomplished coach, so I think recruits would want to play for him.

Only reason I can think of is if Miles runs an offense or defense that wouldn't be suited to a particular player. But I don't think he does.

I don't think it would really effect either team too much, that as long as Miles is the one who gets it and if he keeps a good portion of the staff. Most of LSU's recruits come from Louisiana anyway and most of those guys would go there reguardless of the depth chart or who the coach is. The only ones they might have to worry about would be out of state guys that come from Texas, or any of the southeastern states. But with the season they're having it's unlikely that they'd lose much, if any. UM probably wouldn't lose anyone either. I would imagine that most of those guys chose Michigan for Michigan, not necessarily crusty old Carr. So if they were to replace him with a younger more aggresive coach who's dream job is Michigan I doubt they would lose their guys either. The only exception I could really see is if they were to clean out the entire staff and thus lose all the established relationships that the position coaches have with the recruits.

When I read your post the first time I thought you meant ND recruits who would go to Michigan. SoCal responded for UM kids who might leave and GG responded for LSU kids who might leave.

I hope Miles stays as many miles away from ND as possible. Carr has been decent for us, I hope he stays.
